Whining alone doesn’t sound badass, but on the other hand, the Diamond Dogs were a genuine threat (they were strong and great in numbers), so opposing resistance by whining instead of physically was a good idea actually. You have to give Rarity some credit for playing smart against them, and handling the situation by herself.
Overcame through whinning, though. It doesn’t make Rarity look like a badass, it makes the Diamond Dogs look like the wimpiest slavers to ever exist. Rarity’s a badass because she knows Kung fu, not because she talked the ears off some morlocks.
Miss out the “feminine woman is not weak and can overcome challenges by herself” plot for a generic “dude saves woman and wins her affection” one? No thanks.
