Well, Twi is still fighting the alcohol left in her body, Dash has to fight with her confession to Twi and both are in a world where they exist at the whimp of a god-like being the “creator”, so ofc they go crazy. XD

I’m trying to work out if that whole colorist bit is a reference to a fanfic i’ve seen in which everypony is racist towards blue ponies or not.
