Actually, it makes really authentic hungry wolf pack sounds.
 
He tried and failed to scare the ponies and Megan away with it.
 
So now he’ll let them have it to use as a plot device later.

Here is an example of the creepy pin-point eyes I was talking about on the gem-eyed Sweet Stuff picture.
 
Some villains and some crazy characters have them. Mr Moochick is crazy but helpful, and appears often enough to be the best example.
