Applejack denying him those jars isn’t fare at all. Filthy Rick seemed like a nice guy and respected the Apple Family tradition. (Heck, he even disciplines his little girl when she gets out of line.)
 
And FIM kind of let’s continuity slide for plot. (Case in point how nopony in Equestria seems to realize they are dealing with the Element of Harmony {heroes} and ponies who know Celestia personally.)

Well, we’ll just see how they respond in season 4.  
Especially since the upcoming episode seems to be them making fun of Scootaloo’s inability to fly.  
And since now she’s got her honorary sister in Rainbow Dash and the Princess of the Night herself supporting her, DT and SS are going down. Plus, as of the end of “One Bad Apple” Applejack is now aware of how big of bitches they are. It’s safe to assume that no matter how much it cuts into the farm’s profit, Applejack’s the kind of mare who would deny Filthy Rich his first 100 jars of Zap Apple Jam simply because his daughter is bullying her sister.
 
Also, on a meta level, it’s an easy way to get some sort of conflict going for CMC episodes.

Yeah, but still. DT goes overboard sometimes, but isn’t that bad. She just resorts to name calling as her form of bullying. (I didn’t let name calling get to me as a kid…I did let physical stuff get to me though.) So, I don’t really hate DT. I just think the CMC should just ignore them and jibe back playfully. That’s what I did.
 
Featherweight just gets me cause out of all the side characters that did something wrong, he’s one of the only ones who gets away with it. (DT always had her comeuppance.)

Also, I’ve seen more FeatherweightxScootaloo than with Sweetie Belle, but that’s just nitpicking.
