This is a great idea and you’re tackling issues that should be part of Twilight’s new role, but we probably won’t see in the show. That’s huge appeal and speaking as someone who wasn’t a fan of Flash Sentry in the movie, I’m glad you’re fleshing him out.

You’re right and I very much appreciate your feedback. This was very much a cheap shot to simply have an update, but I see how it falls flat now. I will try to avoid having these kinds of posts again and start moving more towards solid development and other characters and settings, although I still have just a couple more pieces of groundwork to lay first.

This post feels like a misstep. The two main characters are basically saying that they’re in an unhappy situation, and are going to allow it to continue.
 
When a story like this starts out, people will empathize and support the couple based on how poorly they’re being treated. But if the couple remains passive and simply tries to bear it without being proactive, the audience will lose interest and view them as complainers rather than underdogs.
 
Flash Sentry needs to do whatever he can to gain notoriety, including volunteering for dangerous missions. Twilight needs to toughen up and face her accusers. Start to put a positive spin to combat the critics.
 
They can still struggle and feel depressed based on the conflict, but simply lying back and doing nothing won’t make for a good story.

Yeesh, people need to calm down over shippings.

I for one actually like this. Keep going artist.

These pictures are not in response to the fandom hating the pairing at all. In fact, if anything it shows the couple turning to the fandom itself for support as an ask blog.
 
No, the reason for their sadness is contained within its own realm and has nothing to do with how much the general population likes or dislikes this ship.

I mean, Jesus, look at the title of the tumblr: “Ask Dark Twiflash”.

No one actually tags “flashlight” on a pic just because it contains an actual flashlight in it, right? Because I think the time has come for me to filter this ship. Not because I dislike it any more than most pairings (I don’t), but because I’m tired of all the abuse and self-righteousness that inevitably shows up in the comments.

Sorry, it just reeks of one of these kinds of pictures where they show a character all sad and shit because of negative reaction from the fandom. It’s cheap emotional manipulation, and I hate it when they try to do it.
 
Maybe it’s because I dislike not being in full control of my emotions in general.

Still yet to find out exact details, but I imagine their relationship was found out in a premature way. If not, I’d think it’ll still cause headlines large enough to merit forced scandals.

Flash Sentry could get mauled by Bladewolf for all I care. He’s not a good character; if anything, he’s better off not in the show since romance was never the main focus, it’s FRIENDSHIP.
 
As for that Bladewolf mauling Brad, we need a pic of that.

I, for one, genuinely support the pairing, eat that stupid anti-EG, XD, but seriously though, I really like this pairing.

I like flashlight. But I don’t see any logical reason why they couldn’t date.
