Yeah, this one seems more likely to get the trust of the mom, which then might lead to being on good terms with mom and baby, which means extra love to have.
Although knowing the original myths does give it a bit of a creepy vibe to it if you look at it from that angle.
Remember that this is MLP we are talking about, its a bit more lighthearted then in the myths.
Cuz, you know. If your kid grows to be smarter or stronger than average, they’ve obviously been impersonated by the Fair Folk.
I thought they replaced them with a fairy kid.
