Than perhaps a different tag like the name of your tumblr or maybe give the abridgements their own name but it is at the very least misleading to put the artist tag on an edit
No you are NOT the artist, just editing the text don’t make you the artist of this at all.
If you are going to tag yourself as the artist of a simple edit then you have to tag the artist the drew the image.
And this was something brought up before and the mods even have said that is how it works.
I think a simple visit to the source would show that I am indeed the artist behind this post. I happen to also make abridgements to the comic books. But wow, I sure am glad my artist tag was removed from half the things I’ve posted. Thanks! :)

but i thought this was from the comic has edit right there in the tags and it looks nothing like the artists style see
I think this person is using the artist tag on edit which seems a little shady to me
