I really liked this game.
So much that I actually beat it 5 times after my data kept getting corrupt.
Seriously, play it.

Damn dude.. how many staff members got canned after all the negative feedback and criticism the game had gotten? Like 30-40 people or less? If it wasn’t for Dimps and Havok, Sonic would’ve been done for. Though it’s hard to believe that Sonic 06 and Sonic Generations use the same physics engine.
Those lazy bastards who got kicked out must have been paying more attention to the gameplay and graphics instead of just the logic in the story or even the physics and controls.
Supposedly, after Sonic ’06 ended up the disaster that it did, Sega fired most of the staff who had worked on the game.
I guess that explains why Sega refuses to talk to anyone else outside the company about this game. They want to pretend that they never made this game and possibly the Sonic 1 GBA port as well.
I think Sonic is doing fine now. Sonic Lost World is looking like it’s going to OBLITERATE the Sonic Cycle.
Sonic Unleashed broke it
Sonic Colors smashed it
Sonic Generations destroyed it
Sonic Lost World is gonna make sure the sonic cycle won’t be “recycled” for good.
Because it’s easy to make fun of. And because it serves as a bridge between the two eras of the 3D Sonic games: The Adventure era (which includes Heroes) and the Modern era (which starts with Unleashed, despite Generations claiming it starts with this game).
See, I personally hold to the opinion that Sonic ’06 was the only truly BAD 3D Sonic game. After Heroes, Sonic ‘06 was basically a quality nosedive, and the series immediately starting climbing back up with Unleashed. However, it didn’t get all the way back up to its former glory until Colors.
This is why Derpibooru comments should be editable!
