They are not THIS terrible. But Applejack is unforgivable. Her pony self make her appear as a cute tomboyish but still feminine country mare. Why she look like a 10th incest generation gender swapped hillbilly here?

When people try to humanize MLP, they usually try to improve their looks. The color tones just don’t look attractive in any way, nor does the face shape. They really do all look like men in drag. Everything seems so ‘severe’ that it’s ugly, revolting even. I usually appreciate artists trying, but this person is just trying to be controversial for attention whoring reasons. And they fail at that.

I dislike this picture. Here is my reasoning…

Rainbow Dash’s skin-tone is a terrible match for her hair and eye colour. There’s something …off… about Twilight’s face, but I can’t quite figure out what. It’s not the dark skin-tone. Dashie in particular has that “butch” build that I kind of despise. Rarity’s face is kind of froggish and unappealing. Applejack looks derpy and too mannish (but she’s the only one of the six suffering from severe manface).

Whoever said they look too “anime” is a dumbass; these faces aren’t even remotely anime.

Fluttershy that should be the more feminine have the build of a man, and Applejack look like BigMac’ s twin brother.
Taking the trend of drawing her like a dyke on steroids, and this artist drawing style is pleasantly surprising to see RD as the most feminine one.

Every time I see man-face comments I wonder if the person making them has ever seen a woman before.
