I love, LOVE, the reaction of the children when they learn he is from the ground. It is so realistic.  
To them, the ground is this far away place they never seen before, only heard about and read about at school (I’m guessing they read about it at school, at least). So of course they are going to react like that and shower him with questions, and misconceptions, about what life on the ground is like.
