Yes. Bud, Miller, and Pabst is the entirety of American beer.
3.2% beer was only a regional thing…I don’t think it’s sold anywhere anymore. I’m not trying to defend Anheuser-Busch and their bland, watery beer, but Bud is actually 5%.
It doesn’t matter though…alcohol does not give beer its flavor.
That said, you’re right, Ichijoe…I miss being able to see the Bitburger brewery from my back patio. American brewing has gotten a lot better over the past 20 years but there’s no place like Deutschland.
Never drink American beers that have TV commercials. That usually solves that problem, though I do like a good cold blue moon from time to time. Granted its not anywhere near as good as say, Weihenstphaner hefeweizen, it does have a good flavor all its own.
In short yeah I had PBR before, It was better then Bud, but then thats not saying much. I’m sure Raritys crack tastes better then Bud.
Yeah Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer exists, as for the Other? I never heard of it.
That sh!t is like water to me. How you supposed to catch a buzz off that stuff is beyond me. Most Beer here has a minimal limit of 5% by volume. You can of course get stuff thats closer to 10%.
Crap like Bud has what 3.2% by volume, and thats before the water it down even more?
Have you drank either brand on parody here?
PBR is swill (ignore that I have a can in the fridge).
Blue Moon is decent. Not the best but not one I would turn down.
American Beer?!
