Yes RD Can’s Talking

Twilight’s always had that. But only takes it out for ‘special occasions’, most of which as you can see involve Rainbow Dash.

And this is how RD became Phantom Dash.
 
Spike lost his left hand and eye a couple of weeks earlier in a Quizpony competition against a couple of David Pownie’s Diamond Dogs. He cheated and still lost.

No, no, no, wait, no, this is from that one episode of My Life As A Teenage Robot. Sister Sledgehammer. Jenny gets assimilated by the Cluster robot and her sisters have to save her. This exact mechanism is how she got locked into the robot.

I guess I’m a perv, but this is the scene I remember most from Double Rainboom (probably because I try not to think about how afterwards it devolved into an over-long and unsatisfying crossover clusterfuck).

I expected some cupcake time. I was dissapoint.
 
Seriously, Double Rainboom was… okay. Good technique and look as far as animation look, but the creators could have saved themselves lots of money and efforts by making the episode the same leight as the regular show. About 3/4 of the first scene could have been cut without changing the story and the flow could have been improved.
 
Better scene:  
Twi make her thing. (Just a little trimming down).  
RD but in and the potion go “trollface” as a result. Arguing is cut out.  
Twi explain how the potion work. Explanation left full because of awesome.  
Finally, Twi turn around, RD drink, then immediatly, right now, fly away. No bondage scene.  
Then, continue with the rest of the episode, a micro scene trimmed down here and there to shave off some remaining secconds.

They should’ve gotten a more competent writer in the team or put the story ahead of the animation.

Shame that it was let down by its other parts.

It’s easy to forget that the animation in Double Rainboom was really good.
