Look, Pokemon anime, sweetie: if you treat my favorite character like shit - both by seemingly forgetting her existence for half of S2 and then by bringing her back only to lose to my least favorite character - and then relegate her to a handful of non-speaking cameos (oh, so you do still remember her? Why not give her another fucking episode then) I don’t see why I should be arsed to care about you anymore.
Oh and also you cut out half of her appearances in the newest ending theme three episodes in so you can stroke the singers’ collective egos. Way to fucking go. I’m not sorry I gave up on you after Humilau at all.

I’m 20 and I still like the anime, sure it’s not the best, but it’s still entertaining for a Die Hard Pokemon fan that buys a pokemon game everytime a new one comes out, like me.
This is why Bianca should’ve been the main companion imo, Iris acts like a spoiled brat a disconcerting amount of the time.
You should of seen the red flag about and good characters being treated right when they have one of the main companions call him childish for thing that she herself does.
My timeline of events:
First watched the show at 10-ish
Liked most of it
Stopped watching/caring somewhere around Diamond and Pearl
Didn’t apparently miss much
Got back into it around B&W
Stopped watching/caring again after the writers decided they hated Bianca
