Tried a different style of text here to see if that would get rid of the blurriness that my previous comics on derpibooru have had.
Also, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Half Life and Black Mesa, but good lord does the game want you dead. Also, these things can walk off a headshot with the revolver. Multiple brains, or…?

Wait, wrong game.
In addition, since there are no soldiers who use the mp5 grenades now, you can’t get mp5 grenades from the corpses of soldiers who DID use them, like you could from the corpses of cigar and beret model soldiers in the original. In addition, the environments are bigger and enemies don’t group together closely as much, making mp5 grenades even more useless.
If anything, the mp5’s grenade launcher was the nerfed one. Cut down from being able to hold 10 to only 3, ammo’s MUCH rarer in this game, and the explosion radius has been nerfed to a ridiculously small range.
It took me 7 shots with the rocket launcher to take out an osprey, but only two grenades from the MP5s attached launcher, the rocket launcher is weak as shit.
Even then, it’s not that the rocket launcher got nerfed, it’s that the Apache got buffed to a ridiculous extent. Like, oh, being 3 times tougher than a tank. Lolwut
Maybe the secondary fire on the MP5? That’s all I can think of.
There isn’t a grenade launcher in half life or black mesa, whatchi talkin’ ’bout?
Although yeah, I still the game, but holy cwap. Also, if you’ve played Black Mesa, I recommend the Surface Tension Uncut mod someone made for it.
I like how the helicopter takes a dozen rockets, yet the tanks can only take 3. SCIENCE.
Black Mesa Source. They got INSANE at points. Fuck, that chopper on the cliff was flatout IMPOSSIBLE.
Original or Black Mesa? Original was easy, you just let the soldies and grunts fight each other while you rocketed down the osprey. Black Mesa on the other hand, yeah, holy shite. Trying to rocket launcher it while fighting off EVERYONE in the vicinity is a nightmare. That little blinding effect that happens everytime you get shot/bee’d doesn’t help either.
You have to be the cheapest, one-shot motherfucker with a mouse just to narrowly survive that.
…and then it drops a tank on you. Yeah, game wants to fuck you hard.
