I never got the impression there’d be many wars with griffons like most of this fandom’s writers seem to think. I always thought most of the fighting would be with the dogs.

That’s actually what is known as Globus Crucifer, which was a very common part of a Kingdom’s Crown Jewels. More to the point, that one has a heart rather than a cross on top and thus can’t even be the hand grenade.

I would not be surprised. It is “Ask Britannia” after all. Maybe, at some point, they could try to get in references that are more obscure than Monty Python, though. However, it works perfectly here.
