While what you’re expressing echos as vaguely disingenuous, especially the ‘post-communist’ stuff, on reflection I’m not sure I care that much. You seem able to criticize vaunted institutions which more than can be expected of most people. You do you, honestly.

1- I admit that you are correct on my first comment which I only mentioned ’manipulated narratives and disinformation’ from Hamas. But to correct you, I stated later that I criticize both sides. To more ahead say ‘There is no trustable source.’

2- Funny that for you is not insightful, by me mentioning ‘manipulated narratives and disinformation’ from Hamas. Oh but is ok to say like as if the Israeli media is the only one manipulating narratives and disinformation!!??

3- I seem to be casting doubt on journalism about Palestinian suffering.
Negative. At the period of time from October 7, 2023, till beginning of 2024, I was extreme left. The social media accounts from individual anonymous members of Antifa, Marxists, Communists, LGBTQIA+, etc, that I used follow, plus independent websites related to those communities that I used to have bookmarked, were sharing the truth.
But the only truth that once again I will say, the innocent citizens of Palestine suffering from the abusive attacks of the Israeli military, which I have repeated on my both previous comments.
And I add that till last week, I was still following social media accounts from extreme left members, who would still break the TOS, and take the risk by sharing the unfortunate truth of the many dead bodies.

4- Who has more narrative control.
None. From both sides I seen they are equal on the news and social media. When I was extreme left back in those months, I would only consume and listen to my side, and what I used to think it was best for my own convenience. Because that is what I was thought while being an extreme left. That anything the opposition said, was never to be believed, because the word of the enemy needs to be viewed as a weapon, as a brainwashing threat to be used against. To be always angry.
But ever since I recently started to view from a center perspective, I realized I was blind, and now I know I can question both sides equally.

5- Why I bring up Hamas under “Free Palestine”?
Because Palestine belongs to the Palestinians. Not to the colonization/occupation of the Israeli military. Not to Hamas, who once started as a activist resistance movement, which in the past was done correctly, and chosen democratically by the people, but through the years the citizens of Palestine did not know that up ahead in time, Hamas would take advantage to commit human rights abuse as equal as the Israeli military. Clearly stating that we all can individually research and understand that both sides have brought death upon thousands, if not millions of lives for decades.

And lastly, like in my previous comment, all I see is humans vs humans.
All I see is innocent citizens of Israel and Palestine dying equally under the immoral power of the Israeli military, and Hamas.

I believe you are muddying the water about the Palestinian people and nation’s fight against genocide. You raising the idea of ‘manipulated narratives and disinformation’ is not insightful, and hauntingly echos the horrific claims about faked death tolls and crisis actors that Israeli media has used to downplay Palestinian suffering and which they ultimately use to justify their continued occupation. You seem to also casting doubt on journalism about Palestinian suffering in the same way the propagandists would, that it is not sufficient for individual knowledge and judgement, as if we have to expose ourselves and check for ourselves in Gaza and the West Bank where the Israelis could snipe us to make sure that people are really dying.

Are those parallels intentional or a mistake on your part? Would you have said there’s no moral side in the fight against ISIS? Who has more narrative control: The country with a massive intel and tech presence; or the people documenting the horror right in front of the them and the smattering of western outlets that publish them?

So, why bring up Hamas unprompted under an image that says “free Palestine”? Israeli propagandists do it to say that Palestine should not be free. The people who care and listen to Palestinians do not gatekeep or tone police a people struggling for their survival in every way. You should listen too.

Can you please point out my mistaken perspective, and what I shouldn’t equivocate.
This is the second time that when I express my personal perspective, I get replied with a news article.
Not your own words, not your own research, to then being resumed at your own personal understanding. No, you depend on the news, edited, limited and restricted information.
And like my own words stated in my previous comment, I criticized “the abusive attacks of the Israeli military”, as equally the immoral acts Hamas has caused on the innocent and defenseless citizens of Palestine, plus the unfortunate event that occurred on October 7, 2023.
I truly do believe the unfortunate situation on the article you shared with me. I truly do believe on dozens, if not hundreds of immoral actions the IDF and its serving members are getting away with. But I equally question the silenced acts that Hamas has caused, and still to this day.

There is no trustable source. And there is no “one moral side” only. All what I see is people of power taking advantage of the Israeli military, and Hamas, while innocent Israeli and Palestinian citizens are dying.

“Conspiracy” was an unfortunate mislabeling for an alliance that is actually completely the open: Of western elites who see financial and geopolitical dividends out of arming and encouraging Israel on the one hand, and the Israeli colonial lebensraum project that wants to use western resources to carve out their ethnostate from the Palestinian nation on the other hand. There’s actually no reason for the two parties to hide their alliance and its genocidal intent because they have a popular base of support that’s united in murderous hatred for brown, poor, and muslim people.
