I think something tried to rewrite reality in Equestria into becoming a human world LIKE Equestria Girls, but Sunset became an alicorn by stopping it. Somehow magically overpowering that reality rewrite.
Cool mini-story, but think it could have used 1-2 pages more to make that threat clearer.
