The fact that it’s so hard to come up with actual female duos without just picking the two token women from a larger group and calling them a duo even though they’re not, or including romantic couples, really shows how uncommon they are. You don’t have to stretch the definition at all for all the many many many male duos out there. It’s not something I ever had a reason to think about, but now that I have, it bothers me.
