The trick is to cut out a section you want to edit, around 512x512px, upscale it to 1024px, let it regenerate, and then scale it back down to 512px. Also you need an alpha mask around the edge so it fits back in. Its work.

I’m Impressed you managed to make a full size image of sunset with such great detail. Normally the smaller the subject is, the less detailed it looks.
