Spain recently hasn’t been doing too well economically (as you’re probably well aware), so I think any chance they get to celebrate will be done so to the fullest extent.
The got wild but didn’t torch homes, loot stores and flip over buses. As long as no one got hurt the riot police just stood idly by (but everything you can imagine just short of violence was done).

Also, I envy you and Blackie for being Spanish, you guys got some lovely women over there.

@The Smiling Pony Hell, the UK is essentially the poster-child for hooliganism. It like, named it, and is the western stereotype for such. And the Irish are technically considered a part of UK in movie-making, as far as Hollywood is concerned. Irish or British guy in a movie? Not royalty? He’ll be the biggest fucking irredeemable cock in the movie, even if there’s no ‘soccer’ to be had.

I can attest that this isn’t true. I was in Madrid when Spain beat raped Italy during 2012 Eurocup finals. Those nutty Spainiards partied for like a week afterwards. Cops were cool about it.
They take their football very seriously. Not to say the UK or Germany doesn’t, but their spirit isn’t high enough to put Spain “to shame”.
