By S3 standards, that is.
My thoughts exactly… unstoppable superhero who I wouldn’t want to drop a snickers bar in front of.
If we’re just going by air time, then Princess Cadance is a more major character than Rarity.
My least favorite thing about the show is how the writers forget Luna exist.
My issue with Celestia being the greater of the two is that it makes me lose all sympathy for Luna and all interest in Celestia. If Luna is less then her sister’s equal then she never deserved as much love and admiration, and she isn’t Nightmare Moon anymore because she accepted that her place is beneath Celestia who can do no wrong. I’d rather they be absent from the show than for that to be the case
It wouldn’t be “Harmony” if one was greater than the other.
Gee, maybe because the diarchy is themed around balance?
Equestrian flag, balance of day and night, “meant to rule together”, the fact that Luna needed to be brought down by the Elements of Harmony when she went rogue…
Seriously, how is it clear that Celestia has more power than Luna? More experienced, certainly, she’s older and now Luna has a 1000 year gap to bridge in her experience. But more power? More important? Certainly not.
When did they ever say or imply that Luna and Celestia are equal. It’s clear in canon that Celestia has more power than Luna.
So Chrysalis is Edna Krabappel?
Nightmare Moon: the vice principal when she doesn’t get her monthly wage/corn dogs/other object of interest.
Queen Chrysalis: that one teacher that always emos on valentines day because she never gets any cards.
Garble: Sunset Shimmer’s pet bloodhound.
I second this motion.
And he’ll be called “Dr. Jan Itor”!
Discord: Guidance counselor.
>implying he’s not the hobo out back selling LSD to everyone
>yfw a “drugs are bad” episode makes this canon
“You’re talking to me all wrong. That’s the wrong tone. Do it again, I’ll stab you in the face with a soldering iron.”
