Hoof fingers always strike me as really really odd. I think if you’re going to go with hands, make them hands.

Yeah, the hands are weird, but I liked everything else. Some artists do give hoofed anthros hooflike fingernails, but usually they only have two fingers and a thumb, so it still looks odd. OtOH, mesohippus actually did have three (nonopposable) hooved toes

I… I think they’re supposed to be like the feet in that they are “hoof hands,” but instead of making the hands look like the feet they made the “hoof” part look like a hand. But yeah it sort of ends up looking like a gorilla hand unfortunately.
