@Dragonpone
Sadly she didn’t get more screentime in the movie, but she impressed me because for how little time she had, she managed to do performance, help the ponies save the day (I remember ‘Alphabittle look out!’), show her personality including being very impulsive and frustrated (relatable to me). She also appreciated Izzy’s crafts, cheered on Sunny for her to win the dance, and other stuff. Back then I knew I loved her already, haha.
Though one can show a character well with even less time, TYT, Pony Life, Kuromi’s Pretty Journey (2 minutes!), MLP G3.5’s webisodes (~4 minutes or ~8 minutes)…
@Rare
Streaming, being influencer on her part too. I was surprised a bit and then smiled. I love how she treats her fans to be honest, it’s a sweet pony.

And G4 was being developed at super early stages back when G3 rolled our Core Seven stuff (including cartoons). Around 2008. G3’s characters still continued back then, until late 2010 at least. Toys were already ready for FiM and shown at toy fair.

And G3 had a boombox.
Tales (G1) had various tech and things people used in late 80s/early 90s, so it makes sense to me that G5 would do things to appeal to current kids. Yes, maybe it’ll make this gen ‘further’ from older people, - actually to be honest, fans of G4 use phones for a few decades now, so I’m unsure.
I’ll post a (somewhat) related comment that I made about Pipp on EQD:
A few weeks ago, I said that an underappreciated aspect about Pipp is that she’s a good example for kids that celebrities are just people like everyone else, because, while she is a princess, a pop-star, and a social media influencer, she also is shown having a relatively normal life with her family and friends.
But there’s one thing I forgot about that’s also an example of that: her getting sick. Both MYM and TYT had an episode where Pipp got sick. And that can show kids that celebrities also get sick just like everyone else.
And, as I said before, the reason why “humanizing” celebrities would be a good thing is that if kids realize that there’s nothing special about celebrities, that could encourage them to “follow their dreams” and do whatever they want to in life, whether that’s becoming famous or anything else.

I would hope that the strikethrough would make it clear that I was (mostly) joking - but in case it didn’t, I was (mostly) joking
@Grapefruit Face
G5 wasn’t confirmed to happen yet either during the G4 era until the 2017 leaks came about. It’s not like G5 is the end of the MLP franchise. Tbf I think fans want G6 a bit more because it will most likely be a clean slated reboot, which narratively speaking, can open a lot more doors than having be so restricted with pre-established rules from a previous generation.
But is it that much of a problem if I do find a new pony to love? A waifu per generation seems fair to me and aside from my uploads it doesn’t really affect anyone else. Also I do genuinely love Pipp. No need for the quotation marks.
Also I do get a little miffed when i see people thirsting for G6, from what I know G6 isn’t even confirmed to happen yet.
@Grapefruit Face
Yes, but only 4 so far. TYT still has the same wacky formula ever since it started. Some were in fact story driven, but it would have been nice if those weee explored more with an extended runtime.
Also, it wasn’t those crappy Fan “reviewers” fault that ended MYM. It was Hasbro’s decision to end it because it had a planned ending. And they saw TYT was more successful because the target audience liked it more. They don’t care about us older fans.
You’d do the same to Pipp if you find another pony to “love” as soon as G6 debits.

No worries
I kinda hope G6 is a continuation of G4 and G5
to piss off all the people bitching about the connections between G5 and G4lelAh, sorry ^^’

OK, boomer.
Being open and tolerant of a worse product doesn’t make you a child.
Prove that it’s necessary to enjoy it.
Good point. Vry akin with todays gen alpha and tablet kiddos.
Edited
Silly background pony, Trix are for kids.
@Background Pony #51B3
We were all better off without social media and phones that can do anything more than making phone calls.
What about Trix?
I do not trust you to get married.

I’m kinda planning to leave the fandom once G5 is over.

I remember that literally happened when we first saw her and her phone.
