It’s so weird that people honestly believed that Twilight would outlive her friends ‘cause of “immortality”; if that were the case, then I’m sure they would’ve brought it up when Shining married Cadence—they outright said that Discord was immortal. Celestia used age magic to prolong her life to see her sister redeemed; it’s not hard to figure out. Alicrons could be hurt, needed sleep, had to eat, and had to breathe—things that immortals don’t need.
