  • The twins were born conjoined at the shoulder. Surgery shortly after birth successfully separated them, but their respective forelegs had to be amputated.
  • The surgery costs left their birth parents in tremendous financial debt, so they heartrendingly decided to give them up for adoption once they recovered from the surgery a few months later.
  • Both twins were adopted by Livestrong and Pathfinder 2 years following the tragic death of their only child, Surveyor.
  • The two twins are inseparably close, though Finch often gets a little too rough with his sister when they play, ending up with Wren in tears and Finch being scolded.
