The engie who built the sentry can hurt themselves with it. It’s completely possible for a bonked scout to get a engineer to kill himself on his own sentry too if the positions are right.
You also can’t sentry jump without hurting yourself. The damage sort of translates to momentum there.
I could be wrong. Engie’s not my fav class. I always play medic. Anyway, I never tried shooting myself when I was an engie.
Unless they’ve changed it, Engineers wrangling their own Sentry can still hit themselves with it.
Some engineers can use a Wrangler with a Mini Sentry to push themselves up on top of buildings they normally can’t scale, drop a teleporter exit, then rebuild on the rooftop.
I don’t think it could ventilate her. They’re on the turret’s team and ya can’t hurt your teammates, even when using the wrangler. If they were on the opposite team, how the hell did they manage to get behind that turret??
