Description
Boy, this would have been fun to post on December 22nd. Alas, it was not to be. But I’m sure the events depicted here can be construed to have occurred on the 22nd, as Tatiana celebrates the non-end of the world in pretty much the way she competes…hard. Which also describes the nature of the eggnog she’s gotten into…a few times too many, likely leading her to tell that old Mayan calendar where it can stick itself. Although knowing Tatiana, she doesn’t need alcohol to tell anyone where they can stuff themselves.
This is probably one of those pictures that comes out of the woodwork (in other words, Facebook) to haunt people years later :D. But for a first-pic-of-the New Year, it works (and unlike the last New Year’s pic I did, it’s viewable by visitors and people with their smut-filters on full ). In order to get this one inked as quickly as possible, I chose to use a flat line-weight in Inkscape, and as often happens when I get to the color phase, I was just going to do this in cell-shaded style, but ended up doing soft-edged shading instead for the most part.
Pencil on bristol, vector-inked in Inkscape, and colored in Micrografx Picture Publisher. 3 layers excluding attributions and logo. 116 MB at full size.
