Because COLORING!!

Bit of mechanics, bit of flavor.
For context, in the hypothetical MLP set that I envision, pegasi would major in white, unicorns in blue, and horses (earth ponies) in green. There’d be exceptions of course, but that’s generally how the creature types would be distributed.
As the Unimage Prodigy, black’s allied color trio fits well as she’s both passionate as well as logical, but with a selfish lust for power. Indeed, her effects don’t interact with other creatures at all, and focus on her own magical skills.
As the Infernal Unimage, her ambitions have driven her to abandon logic and reason entirely (thus ditching blue), turning her into a hateful demon who actively sacrifices others for her own gain.
As the Blessed Unimage, though, she’s been redeemed. She’s still very passionate (keeping red), but she’s let go of her selfish ambition (losing black) and embraced working with all of her fellow ponies (gaining white and green, and regaining blue), hence the cost reduction and convoke abilities.
I tend to design with Commander in mind, so if she lacked green, there’d be a large amount of earth ponies (horses) in the hypothetical set that she’d be unable to work with, which doesn’t really make sense with the flavor of Sunset accepting all other ponies. Plus, having green as part of her toolkit not only helps justify her Convoke ability (which majors in green and white), but gives her access to plenty of different options to support it.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

It’s an interesting take on Sunset Shimmer as a character. Was this designed top-down from the image?
Also, the green seems unnecessary, especially with the length of the name. Heck, I’d say you could get away with white-blue. What is driving this to be four colors?
