Aye, Biblical hell doesn’t sound cool, bro. Whether it’s fiery flames or eternal darkness or both, I think we all can agree that it’s just a horrible place to be in, to say the least. I can only imagine those who literally think that hell is somehow a cool dimension (some even go so far to say that heaven is worst than hell) will be in for a rude awakening when they actually arrive there.

Needs to know Hebrew.
Quite. At least this one is far more realistic than that other, goofy, one.
And having had nightmares of hell a few times, it’s not something I encourage to go to. Imagine feeling terrified, but with the feeling multiplied many times over, and this happens all of the time and there’s no escape from it. Yeah, that sounds bad to me, the idea of “Good and Evil are the same” be damned.
Oh, and I’m more than getting the feeling that the Biblical hell is not quite the same thing as the one you typically hear of. But there’s still something to be said for the typical fiery one, seeing as I’ve had nightmares of it, and Revelations refers to “their smoke going up forever.” Just like Sodom and Gomorrah and the other 3 cities of that locale.
The Biblical Hell is “outer darkness,” as it’s said in the book. That is a way and place where a person is incapable of having God in his/her heart. It’s not a fun place to be, going by the book.
