Has science gone too far?
36 squares, 4 triangles, 3 circles and 2 pterodactyls.
I count 35 squares.
the difference is that that puzzle is just a couple of tally marks away from being solved. it’s a matter of cleverness and intellect, not a cheap shot of “you don’t know as much as I do about this certain subject”.
Well, it’s a parody of those ads…
I know it’s the truth, this image is just kinda douchey.
Well, too bad. It’s the truth.
the only one of those visible to someone who only watches the show, or doesn’t give a damn about card games and behind-the-scenes material is the credits, and nobody watches those.
Scripts, credits, toys, storybooks, trading cards, mobile game, comics, etc.
Everyone has had a nickname or has had their name shortened to maybe the first 2-4 letters of their name. You cannot possibly tell me that you did not have one of these once in your life. No one can possibly say that with a straight face for how much of an outright lie it would be. I’m sorry, something alone these lines need to be met in order for me to believe her name is “Apple Bloom” and not what I currently believe is “Applebloom”,and your logic of saying “(And because there’s a mole of ponies with “Apple” in their name)” that means nothing, many people have the same name why can’t ponies? It’s always a possibility seeing as they could think alike at the time of naming.
That’s because both “Apple” and “Bloom” would sound awkward rather than cute.
(And because there’s a mole of ponies with “Apple” in their name)
Technically no,seeing as Charlie Brown has been called “Charles” before…so no they do have proper names they just prefer to be called by their entire name. My beef was that no one has refered to Applebloom any other way OTHER then “Applebloom” no nickname or shortening of it to just Apple…Your argument is flawed.
I’m guessing you also would have believed Charlie Brown’s name to be Charliebrown or Charlie-Brown until Peppermint Patty entered the strip.
“Big” Apple Macintosh
Apple “Applejack” Jacqueline
Apple Cobbler
Sweetie “Bon-Bon” Drops
Applebloom
Its’ easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess that would explain the “parody” tag.
Except neither of them has ever been hyphenated.
I imagine it as “Shining-Armor” and “Big-McIntosh”. It’s hyphenated making it one word. We already understand “Twilight Sparkle” is her full name because she is refereed to multiple times as just “Twilight”. Twi is a nickname, just use common sense and it just all falls into place.
Tell you what,if they make it “Apple-Bloom” then ill go halveses with you and say that’s a proper name. :)
Twilight Sparkle, who is often called just Twilight (due to inspiration on G1 Twilight), has been called Twi
And that doesn’t mean her name is Twi Light Sparkle
(And Shining Armor has always been called by his full name. Is his name Shiningarmor, then?)
Also, ponies don’t have “last names”. Big McIntosh is part of the Apple family, but it’s not a surname either.
Ok…all those examples…they have been called by their first or last name AT LEAST ONCE in the show…
Not Applebloom,EVERYPONY calls her “Applebloom”. Not once has anyone called her “Apple” for short.
RD has been called “Dash”.
PP has been just called “Pinkie”.
SB has also been called just “Sweetie”.
See? Yes they are usually called by their full name, but not EVERY SINGLE TIME. Mostly, but not ALL the time. See what I’m getting at? Do you relies how hard that would of been to explain to AB growing up?
“What’s my last name?”
“Bloom”
“Applebloom Bloom? That sounds terrible…”
“No your name is Apple Bloom.”
“Then why not just call me Apple?”
CAUSE SHE WOULD ASK THIS,IT WOULD BE IN CHARACTER FOR HER TO QUESTION THIS DECISION! She goes to school, that has to to be weird to learn proper names and proper speech to only relies that you don’t talk to everyone by saying their ENTIRE name nearly every time, even though you’ve been doing it for years.
So if her name is really “Apple Bloom” they should actually refer her to such at least once or twice,by calling her by her first name only. Until then her name is properly “Applebloom” and not “Apple Bloom”.
Also wouldn’t it feel patronizing to have someone constantly refer you to your full name ALL the time?
Explain that to Hasbro and DHX, please; once they accept Applebloom (one word), then so can I, which would be nice since I think it’s better that way.
Are you crazy? Most ponies with two-word names use their full names almost always: Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Shining Armor, Sweetie Belle, etc.
Her name has been spelled by Lauren Faust, every credits from the show and every merchandise ever as “Apple Bloom” always. Bronies are the only ones who have ever spelled “Applebloom” (probably due to Applejack influence).
In other word, name don’t work one way in everything.
