As a trans person, myself:
I don’t see it. Yeah they’re very similar, but they’re not the same person. I mean for one, Floofer is a pegasus.
Also, I don’t really see any indications in Hitch’s character the suggest he might be trans. Then again, I haven’t seen a lot of MYM or TYT, just a couple here and there and the movie.
I suppose it’s an interesting theory, but I just don’t see it.

this has awoken in me a brilliant idea for a story!
What if… this is, actually, almost true?
What I mean is, maybe as a last resort to stop whatever Opaline had planned all those moons ago, Twilight created a new spell; one which allows for a complete transformation of a Pony.
Similar to The Doctor’s Fob Watch, Twilight has transformed herself and her friends into entirely different ponies which aren’t their true selves, and have hidden them within items which would become incredibly important to each one, such as Sunnys lamp made by her father being her Fob Watch; and if it were to break, it would release Twilight.
Would anyone want to pick this up from here?
