When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 3 - Princess Celestia Attacks! Big Danger in Shanghai
Summary: Twilight and her friends must protect Shanghai from a giant Princess Celestia, who wants to destroy everyone and everything in her path throughout the city. The Mane Six soon realize they are also the victims as they get in Celestia’s way.
During one sunset in Shanghai, everything was still looking like a lovely beautiful place. However, suddenly, that all changed when something just targeted one building, causing panicking and confusion in the city.
“What’s going on? Where did that blast come from?” One resident asked.
Upon questioning from the man, they heard a roar coming from behind, and it was extremely loud, the citizens barely could avoid the noise.
“Look! A giant pony!” Another man shouted pointing his finger at a large alicorn, who approached them with loud hoofsteps and the anger inside her was strong. And her name was Princess Celestia, and her eyes are just as red as darkness.
“Run!” The same man warned the citizens, as he and everyone started running away from the Princess Celestia who was evil, and she wanted every single human and everything in the city disappearing from existence.
Still catching up with the tinies, Princess Celestia stomped on a few tinies under her hooves, flattening them. Everyone else tried the best they could not being caught, but unfortunately, it didn’t last long just as Princess Celestia used her magic, which was also red, and levitated some into midair, destroying them completely.
The alicorn laughed evilly and watched the tinies she killed turned into dust, with nothing in the tinies left at all. “You can try and run from me all you want, but I, Celestia, will find you pathetic insects much quicker where you can’t hide!” She reminded the tinies that she is a pony who is part of royalty and she was so big and so powerful that her powers are really having no end.
Soon, Princess Celestia used a blast wave on the tinies, knocking them down and leaving them unconscious.
“Sleep, and don’t bother waking up.” Princess Celestia told the collapsed humans who ended up resting on the streets just as she continued her wrath and fired magic blasts at other several random buildings as she kept walking through the city.
Meanwhile, a few hours later, at 8:23 at night, somewhere in a far city named Suzhou, Twilight Sparkle and her friends are visiting the city’s classical garden. Fluttershy can’t help herself except smell the flowers that are in the garden and also seeing the water lilies in the water, making her feel so warm right now.
“Isn’t this such a perfect time at night visiting the gardens in Suzhou, darlings?” Rarity asked her friends, seeing that her friends really like the gardens as much as she does.
“Pretty much, Rarity!” Applejack responded with excitement, as she took off her hat for a few seconds, and then placed it back on her. “You know, I’m surprised that everything across this garden contains both traditional and modern things.”
Applejack’s friends laughed at her comment about Suzhou Gardens having traditional and modern stuff in the gardens, such as the flowers, temples, and lantern lights.
“Does anypony feel like trying some martial arts?” Rainbow Dash asked her friends, wondering if they are interested trying some martial arts afterwards. “I promise you, I am a pony is basically an expert at martial arts!”
“I never heard anything about that.” Pinkie Pie said, having never remembered anything about kung fu.
“I taught Apple Bloom this once before, and I can help teach you the exact same thing, Pinkie Pie.” Rainbow Dash offered advice that she can make Pinkie Pie become a great pony at some karate. “It shouldn’t be that hard and when I help you practice some karate, you’ll be getting better at this thing alone.”
Pinkie Pie, having thoughts about what Rainbow Dash told her, later agreed. “I suppose you have a point, Rainbow. I could kick some butts when I do very great at martial arts under the training from you.” Pinkie Pie hugged Rainbow.
“Now that is the thing I wanted from you!” Rainbow Dash said, knowing she can trust Pinkie Pie on that.
“Yeah, good luck with that, because I can do some applebucking, which is better from the karate stuff.” Applejack wished Pinkie Pie the best luck practicing karate with the help from Rainbow Dash. “I could prove it to you, if you like some kick outta that.”
“Why not save some applebucking in Equestria and not in the real world?” Twilight Sparkle suggests Applejack keeps her apple kick only in Ponyville and elsewhere in Equestria.
The ponies soon looked at Fluttershy, who is enjoying her time smelling the fresh flowers.
“Um, Fluttershy? What are you doing?” Twilight Sparkle asked Fluttershy, who’s been spending herself more time with the flowers. “Look, I get it that you love flowers the most, but we gotta keep moving forward.”
“Oh, right… I forgot about that.” Fluttershy said, stopping herself from smelling the flowers she has been loving.
No longer smelling the flowers, Fluttershy remained with her friends and the six ponies continue the journey across the garden. The ponies have been enjoying some time in the gardens for a while.
About twenty minutes later, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have left the Suzhou Gardens, and they planned on visiting another place located in Suzhou.
“I say we all should go and visit the Suzhou Museum and see what we can learn from that place because it can help give us a time learning what has been made in the past centuries and decades.” Twilight Sparkle told her friends, deciding they can go a visit a museum next.
The other five ponies cheered with happiness, seeing they will experience some good things at the Suzhou Museum.
“Do we know what’s inside the museum?” Fluttershy wondered.
“We haven’t visited the museum, Fluttershy, so you just gotta wait until we reach the museum, darling.” Rarity told Fluttershy that they must be patient until they reach the museum, which might be nearby and close from where they are at right now.
Just right before the Mane Six could take off and head for the museum, they saw a man running towards them. He has been stressed, and he appears to be a resident from Shanghai.
“What’s wrong, sir?” Applejack asked the man, who felt all worked out.
“My name’s Chen Yang, and I am from Shanghai, and I came all the way from that city to here.” Chen Yang told the Mane Six, having been looking for shelter in his home, but instead he found a way staying in Suzhou with his car.
The Mane Six still looked confused and they did not understand this, wondering what Chen meant by this.
“For what reason?” Rainbow Dash was hoping that she can actually understand what the man was telling her and her friends. “Come on, tell us. Don’t be afraid tell to us. We all wanna know what happened in Shanghai.”
Chen explained his reason for the Mane Six, saying, “You see, it all started just a few hours ago at sunset when everyone was so fine until a giant alicorn known as Princess Celestia attacked my hometown and killed some of the people I have known. Her magic aura… it was red, and so were her eyes! I saw them! Her eyes were as red as fire!”
“What?!” The Mane Six reacted in shock over what the man just told the man.
“Wait, wait, wait! Princess Celestia is evil?” Rarity looked confused over this, finding it strange that Celestia is really going for the dark side.
Chen nods his head and said, “I’m afraid so… She is still on the warpath, and she has hatred towards humanity, and there’s no stopping her! I need you six ponies to help save my city. You six are the only ones who can stop her destruction.”
The man ran away, leaving the Mane Six left alone as they all looked upset over this news about Princess Celestia becoming a giant, turning evil and attacking Shanghai.
“First Luna, and then Celestia becomes a villain…” Applejack seeing a similarity between both Celestia and Luna. “Not only has Princess Luna been such a threat before in Boston, but now we gotta fight another evil princess pony in Shanghai?! This is outrageous, I’m telling you!” She threw her hat onto the ground.
“Calm down, Applejack. We just gotta use all the might we have and put the strength within so we can defeat Celestia.” Fluttershy comforted Applejack while Rarity levitated Applejack’s hat back onto her hat.
“She’s right. We must act fast, otherwise, my teacher’s gonna destroy everyone and everything in Shanghai if we don’t hurry up.” Twilight Sparkle told her friends, letting them know that they have no time left for a conversation, and it was the time they get moving.
Back in Shanghai, Princess Celestia has been continuing causing havoc all over the city, even the military and police officers can’t stop her.
Princess Celestia laughed very evilly while she watched the tinies run away from her as she kept crushing vehicles underneath her hooves. She fired magic blasts at other buildings so she could be more excited as seeing the world burn before her.
“Everything is all perfect…” Princess Celestia said, seeing the fires in the buildings through her eyes as her anger grew stronger each and every moment. “Nothing is gonna stop me from destroying this city, and when I see the look on my student’s face, she will eventually become horrified once she arrives.”
The giant alicorn continued walking through the streets, leaving large hoofprints her, watching the tinies doing nothing but scream and run away in horror. Just as she continued her destruction in her walk, someone shot a bullet from behind her with a gun, with resulted in hitting her back left hoof shoe.
“Hmm?” Princess Celestia wondered, stopping herself from walking. She turned around and saw a man holding a gun in his hand, with his girlfriend standing next to him.
“Leave this city alone, you monster!” The man shouted at Princess Celestia, as he suggested that she leaves the city alone, but she only smirked and laughed at him for saying such a stupid thing.
The man kept shooting at Princess Celestia, but the bullets still had no effect of the massive alicorn, and then she levitated the gun from the man’s hand, destroying it completely. The man’s girlfriend hides herself behind him, hoping that she was not the next target alongside her boyfriend.
“Aww, no! I don’t have any bullets left!” The man said, as he threw it at Celestia, yet she caught it using her magic and destroyed his gun.
The man tried running away from the giant alicorn, but she stopped him with her magic, dragging him on the floor and he screamed, begging for mercy from the Princess of the Sun, but she was very merciless, meaning she must destroy anyone who stands in her way.
“How does it feel, knowing my powers are extremely dangerous?” Princess Celestia asked the man she was grabbing with her magic.
The man could not resist breaking himself free from Celestia’s magic and soon she started levitating him into the air, and then, in a sudden shocking moment, she turned him into dust right before the man’s girlfriend’s eyes. The man’s girlfriend cried as she no longer saw her boyfriend still existing.
Having so much power and she can’t stop it, the giant alicorn proceeded to walk towards the fearful woman who was helpless doing anything.
“No, stop!” The woman screamed as Princess Celestia started firing a magic blast at her. However, before she even saw herself dying, she saw a barrier surrounding her and six ponies saving her.
“Princess Celestia, that’s enough!” Twilight Sparkle told her teacher who has been under the influence of dark magic.
Knowing that her own pupil is one pony who can’t be hidden from the public, Princess Celestia has been waiting for her student coming at just the right time and witness the terror she has caused for a few hours throughout in Shanghai.
“So, you finally arrived.” Princess Celestia told Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight and her friends all look ready for a fight with Princess Celestia, and although they don’t like doing so, but because Princess Celestia is a villain now and her eyes are red, the six ponies have no choice except fight her.
“Okay, girls. Stay behind me. The dark magic is taking control over my teacher, and therefore this is making her a villain, and we gotta figure how we can defeat her.” Twilight Sparkle reminded her friends that they must stay together so that they can get Princess Celestia regular again.
Twilight Sparkle teleported herself behind her teacher while her friends started attacking the powerful alicorn.
Rarity activated her cutie mark as it began glowing, performing a special technique on Princess Celestia. “Diamond Barrage!” Rarity said as she threw diamonds at Princess Celestia, but she created a barrier before the diamonds could hit her.
“Goodness, I feel like her strength is having not a single limit.” Applejack told Fluttershy, unaware that Princess Celestia is royalty and also an alicorn, and she gets constantly stronger the more she fights.
Hearing what Applejack is saying, Rainbow Dash warned the girls, telling them, “Celestia is getting more powerful, so the longer we fight her, the more energy she will get.”
“Not if we stay together!” Pinkie Pie fired party-related items at Princess Celestia with her party cannon, even though they have done absolutely nothing. “Oops, we gotta get some party items into my cannon next time.”
“Until we defeat Celestia first.” Fluttershy said.
The Mane Six continued attacking Princess Celestia with various objects and items, and they promised they will get Princess Celestia back to the side where she was meant to be.
“You all believe you can defeat the most powerful pony in Canterlot?” Princess Celestia gives the Mane Six an evil smirk, as she started levitating the other ponies, pushing them aside, preferring she fights her student, who is the strongest in the group.
Twilight Sparkle reacted in shock as she saw her friends placed aside, and then looked at Princess Celestia, who really wanted a challenge from her.
Although she was uncomfortable fighting her own teacher, especially one who has turned evil and let the dark magic take control over her, Twilight Sparkle decided that she must fight back and save Shanghai and the people who live in the city, too.
“I don’t wanna fight you, no matter how good or evil you are, but I’m left with no choice, and I gotta do it the hard way!” Twilight Sparkle told Princess Celestia, forced to fight her teacher.
The smaller alicorn and the larger alicorn flapped their wings into the air, preparing for a battle in the air as the other five ponies and the citizens watched in shock, knowing that Twilight Sparkle is the only hope for everyone. They are all counting on her and that she doesn’t ever give up.
“Twilight, defeat Celestia!” Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow and Fluttershy all cheered for Twilight Sparkle, hoping she can defeat her teacher who has turned evil.
Understanding the words from her friends, Twilight Sparkle promised she was not losing.
“Now or never…” Twilight Sparkle told herself, breathing hard as she can’t do anything except fight so she can try and get Princess Celestia defeated for as long as possible. “My teacher is letting the dark power control her, and I gotta fight her forcefully. This is all I can do…!”
Twilight Sparkle dodged the incoming magic blasts her teacher, avoiding getting seriously hurt.
“Pretty nice dodging, Twilight!” Princess Celestia said, liking how her student is so capable dodging dangerous as usual. “However, if you believe that was all, you better try again, because I have plenty more power within, and I will make my blasts bigger and bigger!”
Celestia fired much bigger blasts with the magic coming from her horn, aiming at her own student. When Twilight Sparkle could know they would be aiming at her, she teleported herself behind her student, catching her off-guard.
“Do it now, Twilight, hurry!” Rainbow Dash yelled out, giving the Twilight Sparkle the perfect chance to strike her teacher.
Princess Celestia came back on the ground on her four hooves, deciding she should move on forward and deal with her student’s friends. “Maybe, I can deal with you five first before I can finish my fight with Twilight Sparkle.” She said, walking towards the five ponies as she stomped her hooves to the ground.
Twilight Sparkle gasped and saw her teacher try and destroy her friends. Quickly teleporting herself before Princess Celestia, she realized that she must perform a big technique as time was wasting.
“CELESTIA!” Twilight Sparkle screamed, shouting out her teacher’s name as she prepared a huge magic blast towards Princess Celestia. She unleashed it, and threw it towards her teacher.
As the magic blast came straightforward very fast, it hit Princess Celestia in her front legs, giving her some damage, and she couldn’t get back up.
Princess Celestia let out a grunting sound as she actually felt the attack her student used.
“No… It can’t be…!” Princess Celestia said as she eventually collapsed, unable to attack any further. Twilight Sparkle teleported her friends away from Celestia before she could fall on them.
With Princess Celestia defeated, she finally reverted back to her original, regular size. Twilight Sparkle and her friends walked towards her, seeing that she’s knocked out cold.
“At least that is finished…” Applejack said in relief that Twilight Sparkle defeated her teacher who was possessed by the dark magic the whole time. “It is a pain we fought another evil giant princess again…”
“This wasn’t the first time we ever encountered Princess Celestia where she is the villain.” Rainbow Dash told Applejack and Fluttershy, recalling a time when she and others entered another universe where both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are evil.
“But I don’t think this will be this last time we will deal with a giant evil princess pony.” Rarity reminded the group that there’s still one princess besides Twilight left remaining.
Following the words Rarity was saying, Twilight Sparkle placed her hoof under her chin and then she noticed that Princess Cadence is the only other princess they have not ran into yet. The group started panicking, and they all feared Princess Cadence might end up turning evil next before they can search for her.
“Girls, we must look for Princess Cadence.” Twilight Sparkle warned her friends that Cadence is another possible target that will end up letting the dark magic taking control over her next. “My sister-in-law is the only other princess besides myself that is still good, but if we do not find her in time, she will end up being evil just like how Celestia and Luna have been.”
“She’s right.” Pinkie Pie said, agreeing with Twilight Sparkle. “We gotta go back and visit the United States. Cadence may somewhere be in that country.”
“I reckon that we still may not make it in time.” Rarity told her friends, though they should still try as fast as could before Princess Cadence becomes next on the list.
Fluttershy also agreed as the other ponies, seeing they can’t stay in Shanghai and just let Princess Cadence become evil. “While it will take a day or more where Princess Celestia may eventually become good again, now’s the time we all stick together and look for Princess Cadence.” She said as Twilight Sparkle created a portal seconds later.
“Come on!” Applejack and the others rushed into the portal.
Before Twilight Sparkle could leave, she quickly waved goodbye at the humans, who called her a true heroine for saving the city from her corrupted teacher. She jumped into the portal and catch up with her friends. The portal closed itself.
While the citizens remained with Princess Celestia, who is still unconscious, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have gone through a portal, taking them back into the United States in search for Princess Cadence. However, can they reach her in time? Or will she end up turning evil before they arrive?

Ooh, this story must be making you feel shocked and terrified, isn’t it? I did say before that I would make a story where Princess Celestia would be evil and betray the Mane Six.
