While appreciative and founding his level of care admirable, Twilight still sets the record straight with her conflicted emotions. As much as I feel people are often too harsh on Discord for the finale, which is why I came up with this short story were twilight does recognize his level of care. I also do think it was right and understandable for all the characters to call him out for it like they did in part 1 of the finale and plus its in character for twilight.
