Yeah, I guess I should have left it as ‘this is why AJ is my least favorite character-because she is a stereotype’.
Yeah, I am aware of that. I have a friend that lives near Barrie, lol. And that’s obviously due to two things: 1) Toronto and Montreal being along the St Lawrence Seaway, allowing for easy trade with other countries 2) The weather conditions being more ideal for agriculture down south (up north it is far too cold to grow much of anything).
Actually, where I used to live in norther NY is further north than >50% of the population of Canada. Most Canadians live on the bit that juts down south of the 49th parallel. They’re mostly to me. :)
They are a fruit associated with fall, especially in North America. Apple pie, apple cobbler, pumpkin apple spice coffee and hot chocolate, apple cider, candy apples, and apple cake are all associated with the season where I live. Latgely due to the apple harvest season happening during the fall.
I mean, she was talking about so many apple dishes I think AJ at least had some influence, especially since apples aren’t exactly Nightmare Night/Halloween fruit.
Hahaha. Southern Canada is still very far north, eh? I mean, it borders northern US states like New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan (with three of those states having a maritime border and two having a land border). It isn’t exactly the ‘deep south’ of the US, haha.

No, she doesn’t feel more like Applejack in any way. Applejack was always very stubborn, caring a lot about her family to a fault (even preventing her sister from leaving her house once). She also notably speaks in a very stereotypical Southern accent, which I still find hilarious since it was voiced by a Canadian VA that likely never spent a single day in the South.

Honestly after watching her make the Nightmare Night party dishes, she feels more like Applejack’s.
