Is she talking about A Canterlot Wedding? Because then pony civilisation has gone from steam trains to smartphones in a single lifetime.
If a lifetime lasts from 1923 to 2023, then actually you could go from steam trains to smartphones in a single lifetime.
But I wonder if the loss of magic would speed up the advance of technology.

After watching chapter 4, I had this crack-theory that Elder Flower could be Alphabittle’s mom, bc she has a somewhat similar color-scheme to him and she’s old enough to be his mother, and also Misty’s grandma, but since they haven’t interacted so far, not even when they both appeared in the same scene, so I think at this point it’s save to assume that they’re not related. But who knows. 😅
