Yeah this story’s got a lot of stalker fantasy fulfillment and obsessiveness not associated with a healthy lifestyle.
It’s one thing to meet someone when you’re young, live a full life and meet them again as an adult and use that youthful experience as a springboard into an adult relationship. It’s something else entirely when you treat it like one continuous, agonizing desire that dominates your whole life and holds you back from developing. It’s especially creepy how the world seems to bend itself (and the characters seem to bend their characterizations) to enforce the “Oh, the world’s against me, life’s so hard!” narrative the authour craves.
i just read the rest of this comic, i dont find this cute anymore…he spent his whole life obsessing over a filly he met when he was young, its a bit nice how he finally found her but i am getting huge stalker vibes…
