This is an older image. It took a while for ECMajor to reconcile his photorealism with show style, and the results could be creepy.
@Princess_SunnyButt
I think it’s something about her face, but I can’t tell exactly what it is…I think maybe her snout is a bit too big? I’m not sure.
also, her flank looks like it’s raised up in the air even though it doesn’t seem like it should be. But that might just be perspective screwing with me.
I’m done for today but I’ll rework it a bit and add a light source to make it better; some light shafts could work too
Well since it is supposed to be morning in the image maybe do an overlay of sunlight coming from the side fading to a darker tone. On the character herself put in a few highlights on the side of the sunlight.
it is a color job, the sketch is not mine. style and pose are something I cannot change, I just work around and do what I can
Lighting can be just as important as the pose and expression in setting the mood in an image. You got the pose and expression down pretty well.
I think you are on to something. when I added light I did so with no source in mind… hmm
Well, that summoning diagram would probably cause the invoked entity to manifest in the middle of the caster’s body. Maybe that’s it.
maybe the fact that I can’t shade or add light properly yet :) ?
The uncanny valley?
It’s okay for me, but I understand that it may look “too real”.
Any idea?
