I do see where you’re coming from with “the extended cut not owed but deserved still it was a good gesture and most importantly it was a labor of love”, and to be honest, it personally improved my view of the original endings somewhat.
 
Like you, I’m also ok with twilycorn (same with a lot of my other mass effect 3 ending hating my little pony loving friends).

The first thing you should know is if this image had omitted the refusal ending part i may well have up voted it in spite of the fact that i’m ok with Twilycorn
 
Because i still remember how Furious i was with original endings and i still wish they never existed
 
And i was at most expecting take back Mass Effect to yield an apology it was the least we deserved but more than we were owed
 
Then i learned about the extended cut and i played it and it was better still not great but good enough that i could actually finish the game with some satisfaction
 
And it was a gift they didn’t owe us anything we DESERVED allot more than even the extended cut not owed but deserved still it was a good gesture and most importantly it was a labor of love
 
And this image used that gift to set up a straw man and to me that is just spitting in the face of someone who is offering a hand in apology and i find that to be in bad tastes
 
Criticizing the games is fine i have a few myself mostly centering on cerberus’s Villain sue status but like i said this image uses a gesture of respect to insult those who made it
 
Lastly i am sorry for my attitude i was condescending if i had known you had a history of others being jerks over this i would have tried to be nicer and more understanding again i’m sorry

Welp, I’m going to have to address this sooner or later, so I might as well say it here first:
 
I don’t have a problem with people whom personally liked both ME3 and its ending. What I do have a problem with however, is a lot of bioware supporters giving me (and anyone else) shit for daring to criticise Mass Effect 3.
 
This isn’t just a case of “well, I disagree, but fair enough”, but of harsh insults. See the comments on this video to see what I mean
 
One of the top rated ones at the moment is saying that I need my head fixed for criticising the game, quote:
 
“ME2’s story sucked? ME3’s story sucked? I believe you need a lobotomization, because, you are beyond the point of no return.”
 
I’m sorry for insulting you, but try to see it from the perspective of those on the other side, whom are chastised whenever we dare raise a voice of dissent regarding anything Mass Effect.
 
This is why I’m tolerant of criticism of the show on this site: I know what it’s like to be on the other side.
 
If you personally like ME3 and the ending thereof, more power to you, I mean that sincerely. But remember that there are those such as myself that were thoroughly disappointed by the third game, and our criticisms should not be disregarded because they are criticisms

1:The extended cut dlc is free and it cost them a good chunk of money to make it and they had to delay paid dlc to make it
 
2:You are misrepresenting the refusal ending. yes this cycle was harvested but thanks to the efforts of all the galaxy the next cycle was stopped without the catalyst’s help
 
3:you are twisting the facts the first three are only using the pre-extended cut info but the refusal endings presence means that the more in depth versions would be present

This is actually pretty funny.
