Considering the state Griffonstone is in, it’d be an uncoordinated mob, at best.

He might have been bluffing/lying about an army. Also, I’m kidding about the Umbrum being forgettable; anyone who’s read that comic would remember such a distinct species.

Probably because “haha let’s put in generic Injuns and make them a whole different species to make it clear they’re not like us” was never a good idea from day 1.
Given that other Friendship School students were introduced by heads of state or their representatives, and Gallus was brought by Grandpa Gruff, and also given that the only griffon trying to make a difference in Griffonstone was Gilda, I’d venture to say that it’s unlikely that they’ve suddenly set up a government.
