Sharing in the fate of her best friend Sci-Twi, Sunset Shimmer is unable to do anything but watch as the spell takes hold on her body and forces her to change, forever. She holds her head in awe and despair and discomfort as her new angler comes popping from her forehead and snakes into its full size. Bubbles come out of her mouth as the transformation alters her neck and gives her six shark-like gills and she realizes she can no longer hold her breath, for she now has no lungs. Her feet and toes expand and squirm into long rays, forming the support for her new fins. Sunset, always so brave and smart and strong, cries at the very discomforting sensation of having all the bones in her human legs crumble away. She feels embarrasment as the magic also starts eroding her clothes away into the sea. She kicks and squirms and tries to resist, but the changes are overwhelming. At the same time she feels a numbness coming from her lower abdomen as the transformation ensures that any progeny she would ever have are born as merfolk, full and through. Sunset has to think -fast- in a way out of this predicament, but, will she find one?
