I usually just stick with Rainbow Rocks and that one small scene in Forgotten Friendship where Celestia says “I’ve missed you” to Sunset. Ignoring everything else that came after Rainbow Rocks, that to me is Equestria Girls’ true ending.

If you don’t like how the last EQGs movie left the series on a cliffhanger, then there’s my answer to you on how to fix the problem.

Get rid of that last EQGs movie.

Yes, you heard me correctly. Get rid of it.

Getting rid of the last EQGs movie will give you a better movie ending from the previous EQGs movie without the cliffhanger and then you’ll be happy about it. Boom, problem fixed.

Will it work? Yes, it will. I actually had the same problem that you had with the ‘Alpha and Omega’ movie series. ‘Alpha and Omega 8: Journey to Bear Kingdom’ was so horrible that it gave the ‘Alpha and Omega’ movie series an awful finale that I did not like.

So as a solution to the problem I just sold the 8th ‘Alpha and Omega’ movie and kept the other 7 ‘Alpha and Omega’ movies with ‘Alpha and Omega 7: The Big Fureeze’ as the real last ‘Alpha and Omega’ movie. ‘Alpha and Omega 7: The Big Fureeze’ gave a satisfactory conclusion to the ‘Alpha and Omega’ movie series without the bad 8th movie and I was happy with the ending I got from it. That’s now I ‘fixed’ Alpha and Omega’s ‘bad finale’ to the movie series.

My advice to you? Do the same thing I just did with your ‘EQGs’ movie series, and you’ll be happy with it then without that last EQGs movie which left the series on a cliffhanger. It’s an easy fix when you think about it.

And while I’m not going to act like that show exceeded expectations that toy commercial was not the show we got

One of the first, sure - probably helped in size that it came along while the drama from Magical Mystery Cure was still burning pretty hot.

The actual first that I can remember would probably be Cadance being an Alicorn instead of a unicorn (which is apparently what she was when Faust had last consulted on the s2 finale). Speaking of which, I’m glad her origin form was a Pegasus, rather than a unicorn, officially.

I think this was one of the first big dramas of the brony fandom. Either thst or Faust retiring.
