What I meant it that it’s not a super power for for flutter’s and Dash to fly nor is it a super power for Twilight and Rare to have magic. Those are just rudimentary skills that they can practice to their own accords, being born as they are. Pinkie sense is the closest thing any them have to a “superpower”
Superman is Kryptonion and his powers are natural to him, but he was raised among humans, he identifies as one and lives/fights for values which we consider human. He is one of us, and those humble upbringings make his abilities and his use of them for the greater good (particularly among a huge population who have no knowledge of Krypton) exceptional.
War World? Crisis on Infinite Earths?
Not for kryptonites, but when did any Superman movie/comic ever take place on any other planet than Earth?
By that logic, it’s not really “special” to fly and shoot lasers out of one’s eyes, since Kryptonians have those powers naturally.
It’s not a special ability for a pegasus to fly, nor for a unicorn to have magic. So on that level the rest dont have special abilities either
Anyway, I agree with Applejack being compared to Batman for a reason left out of this image: Both of them are badasses despite having no special abilities.
Meh, I find it entertaining, not the best but far for being bad.
Alright then…though I think It’s a given that well over half this community rejects my crossover, given this post and certain attitudes.
That’s how it’s always been, though so I guess its just more of the same.
I was just saying I think your explanation was good, but I also think you gave to much, you started with the purpose of a parody, and explained that well “Dash is someof a funny polar opposite to Bats, but at the same time, the most akin to being a hero” that works, but that also covered why you used Dash for Batmare, when you only started to talk of parody, so to drag in the rest of that comment to switch for explaining your own reason to use dash was a little more then needed to make the point about parodies.
I just put my reasons up because I knew someone would want an explanation if I just stated who I personally had for Batmare.
I lose if I leave it unexplained and and I lose if I explain things. I can never win no matter what I do. Sums up this community very well.
>I’m done talking to a brick wall
So brick wall talking to a brick wall then?
I was just saying how with all you pointed it just took away form some of my enjoyment of you crossover, and I even gave way, to me if you enplane to much(even just a tiny bit) it can take away for it as a whole, to me if it’s good it make the person looking at it think of why the parody is set up in that way and how it is parodying the original work, you give to much info on why it;s like that you then take away stuff for the person viewing it to think about, and for me I get less enjoyment if I’m given less to think of.
My blog represents a small part of the overall Crossover I’ve been working on for over the past 2 years. I’ve put thought into and explained every casting choice Ive made since I started in detail.
If you don’t like it, make your own crossover. I’m done talking to a brick wall, here.
All I was trying to get across is that even when trying to make AJ seem like similar enough character to bats, these reasons are still shallow and don’t really hold up.
A villain can be a protagonist.
Protagonist =/= hero
>ajor differences for the protagonist
You mean Dash in that
>My blog centers around Ivyshy Pinkie Quinn and Catmare
That mean Dash is NOT the protagonist on the blog, if it centers around someone other then her.
Protagonist/hero of my series doesn’t Have to be the focus of my blog. My blog follows the villains whereas my friend’s blog follows the hero.
I seriously don’t get what is so hard to understand.
When did I say Dash wasn’t the protaginist? I said CATMARE wasn’t. Jesus tap dancing christ.
Okay then, if Dash isn’t the protagonist what is the one you call the “most appropriately different” NOT the protagonist of you blog, the protagonist is the main focus, not the hero, so that make your whole thing even more lame to me, the biggest part of you parody is a said part.
She’s not the hero of the series, as she’s more of a leading lady (very much not the protagonist. My blog centers around Ivyshy Pinkie Quinn and Catmare. Not batmare(there’s another blog I work with who does that). Regardless, Dash is the protagonist of the series as a whole.
