I don’t get this comic. Why would Fluttershy say they are sold put of chips when there is a wall of chips right next to her?
that’s the joke, i think. it’s kind of a hyperbolized “what if” scenario. she’s giving a sarcastic answer to an obviously stupid question from a customer, who doesn’t get it and proceeds to take her at face value, issueing a service request instead. so in a further “escalation” of the scenario Fluttershy just leaves and goes home

I don’t get this comic. Why would Fluttershy say they are sold put of chips when there is a wall of chips right next to her?
Also, at Dollar Tree where I work we get questions like this all the time, people asking for things that we may have not gotten shipped in via our supplier. As such, this is quite relatable for me, even if I have never once worked in Wal-Mart specifically (and I never plan to, lol).
And a side note: that must be a Canadian Wal-Mart. The term ‘Supercentre’ gives it away, lol.
