Personal preferences, my dude.
Believe it or not some people enjoy the smooth sole look without wrinkles and I commend Kenaga for bringing more to the table.
And yes, I actually love my pizzas without toppings.

If you don’t want to see any more just filter the artist’s tag and move on.

Blender rookie here. Making textures and models which emulate the behaviour of the human skin is hard, mainly because, the wrinkles for example have a complex pattern to make. Certanly they could look simple in real life, it’s easier to see them as something normal or easy to create, but when we speak about making it from zero in a 3D software, the problem with getting models designed to have this kind of treatment or to finding the ideal textures starts to be a bother. Some artists who make excellent foot fetish images with incredible textures (Which includes the wrinkles you mention) must modify the models, adding details in the skin of the soles, so the sculpting can be easier to detail the feet as much as possible, or this wouldn’t be efficient otherwise. The depths enters in this issue too since, how you mention, the textures mustn’t look plain, and if you didn’t a good job with the model, the software can glitch or you simply won’t get results.

We were speaking about people with experience in the matter, however based in the quantity of art this guy has made, we can say he is still a novice with barely knowing of Blender (No offense tho) so you shouldn’t be that harsh. Maybe ask yourself this;

“Does it look like Blender was used?”

If your answer is “No”, tough luck, move on.
If your answer is “Yes”, there is an 80% chance you could already tell with the extra care put into it.

Starting to get angered by all these 3d rendered foot fetish uploads that have zero effort put into them. Like, where are the details, like depth or wrinkles? This is like a pizza without any toppings, or a breast without nipples: just bland and unenjoyable.
