I would find that heartwarming if it wasn’t for the fact that it started with “his dad died” like damn bro.

his dad died, which really shook zephyr to his core and finally made him grow up and become mature, he gave up being a mane stylist and founded a care home in his father name, even gave up on rainbow dash until he had a chance encounter at a coffee shop, the encounter went so well and rainbow .liked the more mature zephyr she asked him out, it all on the authors twitter page with more cool art of the ship
or a VERY hard knock to the head resulting in total amnesia, his OG memories never coming back and as a result he dveloped a whole new personality?
Grew as a person after realizing how much of a loser he was.
Elective whole-body personality transplant is the only possible answer.
I mean, the fandom’s ship between two background characters who never shared an ep for years became canon, so…
