That is fair. Phyllis did turn around. SO that might encourage the redemption of Sprout by befriending or becoming more with Sunny after their conflict.

I don’t think it would be that awkward since Sunny never held any grudges towards Phyllis. As for Phyllis,she did change her mind at the end of the movie.
It’s cute, and could help with the redemption arc for him. Though I’d imagine Family dinners with Phyllis Cloverleaf would be hella awkweird.
