I remember so many fanfics back when season 2 had just ended that were all making the connection that Vinyl was somehow related to Twilight be it a distant relative to something as close as a cousin. Always happy to see others still wondering about their closeness in design between her and Shining. (Heck, I remember a fanfic that had Shinning Armor as Vinyl, that she was his disguise or something whenever he wanted to party.)
