this is a nice pic, also props for the flag of dixie, I hate PC crap, I have a flag thats personal to me, its not the rebel flag, its the Kyokujitsu ki flag, some koreans and chinese don’t like it, but I still use it, I can relate to southern pride, and the fight they have for their flag even though the stars and stripes has been used for far more racism then the stars and bars

Slavery was the reason for the Confederacy, yes. But the reason for the Civil War was States rights.  
Legally, the Confederacy was in the right - they had every reason to secede -, but morally they were in the wrong.

Everyone has different opinions, and when those opinions aren’t met some people often overreact.  
But I agree, I lived in the south for a couple of months and there are a lot of ignorant people there. They’re very silly.

er no slavery WAS the main reason of the confederacy. people need to stop denying this, yes the north weren’t angels but they were lightyears ahead of the south in this regard.

I hate to bring up more stuff, but I will admit, I do think it’s silly that some southerners (a very small amount, I must add) say we should “secede” just ‘cause Obama got re-elected.  
I admit, I don’t think he’s a “good” president (same goes for Bush) but some people are being silly. It’s like those people who said they were going to move to Canada, or kill themselves when Bush got relected.

It’s not even the Confederate flag, just a battle flag for the Confederacy. Nowadays it’s just used to show “southern pride” or whatever.

People are very ignorant about the “Confederate” flag. It wasn’t ment to be “racist,” or anything originally, the P.C. folk just painted it that way, because some idiot racists have used it before. I can kinda understand why some “hate” it, or are uncomfortable with it, but not everyone who uses it for decal, and such are “racist.”  
Some just use it for “southern” pride, sense the Northern American people tend to paint the south badly. (If you ask me, they have just as many “hicks,” “white trash,” and “rednecks” up North as they do in the south. Seriously, go to New Hampshire, or Pensylvania, and you’ll see lots of them.)
