Yeah thats true. We forget that too often. Jesus is the most important and we should use him our reference point and our source of unity.
valuingshunning hard work as in buisness activities and having too high a sense of nobility like Spanish or French nobility. A Spanish nobleman would be thought to rather die a poor man than work as a wealthy blacksmith because it would be not noble.Edited
The Inquisition actually considered belief in witchcraft to be superstitious nonsense and barely ever even investigated it, much less burned them at the stake.
Lol, Mormons are sort of Protestants to Protestantism.
Agreed, though your use of the term “denomination” informs me that you are a Protestant. Orthodox and Catholics both view themselves as the unified Deposit of Faith and the One True Church.
And in truth, they are not far from reconciliation. Pray for a healing.
Meaning, Protestant.
Pretty much any Christian who does not affiliate with an apostolic See is a Protestant.
Rainbow Dash - Catholic
Rarity - Protestant
Pinkie Pie - Orthodox
Makes sense to me.
@K9Thefirst1
I highly doubt there was a”point” to this, it’s a joke. Also most Inquisitors (excluding those who became political tools) didn’t believe in witchcraft.
For the Protestant one: The most famous group of protestants (to Americans at least), would be the Puritans, the pilgrams that are famous for the Thanksgiving story.
Orthodox: The big Orthodox Church state in the middle ages was the Eastern Roman Empire (you may have heard of it referred to as the Byzantine Empire). Being on the edge of civilized society (in Europe) and on the borders of invading hordes such as the Mongols and the Huns, they would have looked little better than the Land Vikings.
Catholics: I’d like to direct you towards the fact that “Inquisition” was a thing, and that while Protestants did so as well, Witch Burning is also closely associated with said Inquisition.
There’s no doubt more to it than that, and these are clearly simply over-simplified generalizations, but that’s what the maker of this was aiming at.
I’m okay with this!
He’ll win for now.
Just as planned.
