From a chance meeting upon a bridge when they shared a moment of comfort to sitting up on a lonely hill near White Tail Woods, the unlikely courtship of a griffoness and a stallion is celebrated during a momentous Equestrian holiday of love. With Goldengrape bringing a single pink rose and Gabby gifting him a fancy box of chocolates, the pair set their tokens of affection aside to enjoy a far more important gift together. Gabby draws her soft, large wings around her companion and holds him close, preening his mane. He wraps a hoof around her waist and leans into her radiance, an ear pressed to her fluffy, purring chest as he closes his eyes. Their moment lasts an eternity as a loving memory, a precious diamond through the hourglass of time as they are lost in one another’s embrace.

Hey, you wouldn’t think I missed Hearts and Hooves Day now, would ya? To be fair, yes, it’s about a week late, but that’s 100% because I totally forgot to upload it! Originally made for a little art jam, I decided there was no better way to celebrate the day than to revisit this lovely crack-ship I’m sure existed from the moment these two shared over 1 second of screen time together. Truth be told, I really love Gabby and her pal Goldengrape, they’re both terrific :D
